The Kiwanis Children’s Garden is a free and accessible place of wonder, beauty, fun, whimsy and education for all. The garden was the Kiwanis Club of Springfield’s gift to Springfield as a legacy gift to the community in honor of the clubs 100th anniversary in May 2019.
It is located in the southeast section of Snyder Park on the west side of Springfield.
As the seasons change so will the flowering plants, trees, and shrubs in the garden. Children and their families can return again and again to enjoy the beauty and wonder of the Kiwanis Children’s Garden. For more information on their history and vision visit the garden’s website.

2025 Jazz & Blues Festival
Located at the National Road Commons and Mother Stewarts Brewery.

Springfield Kiwanis awards college scholarships every year. In past years, six $3000.00 scholarships were awarded to high school seniors in Springfield and Clark County schools. Applications are available from high school counselors. Additionally, the Kiwanis Foundation provides small grant awards to local nonprofits serving children. From K-Kids at Kenwood Elementary School to Builders Club at Hayward Middle School and Key Club at Springfield High School, we empower students to develop essential leadership skills, foster a spirit of service, and make a positive impact in their schools and communities.
